Lauren LeMay

Lauren LeMay (born December 3, 1983) is a Romanian-born American actress who began her career in acting, touring in musicals and dramatic performances with groups of and folk dancers, to companies such as Bulandra Theatre, National Theatre Bucharest, Nottara Theatre & Cepeca Theatre. Also with the Pioneer Organization during the Communist regime and the Pioneer movement. Then continued with off-Broadway theater parts in West Side Story, "42nd Street" and "A Midsummer's Night's Dream".
Personal life
LeMay was born in , Romania, the daughter of Letitia, an accountant and Florian Talos, a physical education teacher. Her birth name, Ana Talos, was later changed to Lauren LeMay when she began a pursuit in a career as an actress. She was fond of drama and she was involved in school plays and also with the Cepeca Theatre up until the collapse of Communism.
LeMay is the first of two siblings. Her father left Romania to the United States after the Romanian Revolution of 1989 ended the communist regime. And four years later succeeded to bring the rest of the family out.
LeMay moved to Chicago at 14 after the Dissolution of the Soviet Union. She finished Hinsdale Central High School there and later moved at 19 to Hollywood to pursue a career in acting.
LeMay was married to entrepreneur Julius Mathes up to his death in 2004. She is currently married to photographer Kevin Break.
Acting career
Lemay's first professional acting role was in a Off Broadway production, West Side Story. She then landed a part in a production of "42nd Street". She had roles in Camp Utopia, Hidden Hills, Kandors, Undiscovered, and played an uncredited part in the film The Aviator. She also narrated The Book of Jasher in 2011.
