BAD Salsa Group

BAD Salsa Group is a dance troupe based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. They are led & mentored by Choreographer Bivash Choudhury, from whose dance school, Bivash Academy of Dance, their name is derived.
They participated in the Indian talent show on Indian TV channel "Colors" . They made an impactf in the auditions in India and won the chance to enter the competition. In their quarterfinals performance they impresed the judges to capture the highest vote of the season and secure their place in the semi finals of "".<ref name="GBK"/>. BAD Salsa were a very impressive act but did not win the season.
Before IGT
Under the supervision of Bivash Choudhury, at his Bivash Academy of Dance, two of his brightest child students Dona Mandal (11) & Akash Sharma (14) became the best performers on various regional entertainment channels. Akash became the winner on Zee Tv's Dance Bangla Dance and Dona won the Twinkle Twinkle Dancing Star competetion at Mahua Bangla, both under the choreography of Bivash Choudhury.
India's Got Talent
BAD Salsa Group auditioned for India's Got Talent and surprised the audience and the judges with amazing salsa moves and spins. Quotes from the judges include:
* Dharmendra "Maine jindegi me bahut se ajuba dekhe hai.. this is the best"
* Sonali Bendre "Mujhe Finalist Nazar Arahe Hai". <ref name="GBK"/>
They performed spectacularly in the quarter finals with an amazing 32 spins nonstop and amazed the audience once again.
