Laura Boudreau

Laura Boudreau is a Toronto-based fiction writer. Her work has appeared in The Fiddlehead, The New Quarterly, , Grain, and '. Her work was also shortlisted by "The Great Canadian Literary Hunt," hosted by This Magazine (2004).
An article written in early 2006 for Spacing on the arrest of Montreal street artist Roadsworth highlights tension between private (i.e. for profit) and public uses of the streetscape in urban settings, and was widely cited in Montreal urban issues blogs at the time.
She served as a production editor for Descant magazine Issue 130; a recent publication, "The Party," is a short story based on her experiences at a fundraising party for the magazine.
