Lancelin Boys Weekend

The Lancelin Boys Weekend (LBW) is an annual event taking place in Lancelin, Western Australia, around April or May each year.
While the inaugural date for LBW if often quoted as 1998, evidence suggests that the event dates back to as early as 1994.
LBW brings significant revenue into the town through its support of local industries such as forestry, cray fishing and the Tav.
From its humble beginnings several themes have continued through the years including "The Title" and "What happens on LBW stays on LBW". The event has evolved to now include other themes such as "LBW Sanctioned Events", "Halo" and the LBW branding and designer street-ware.
The profile of the event was significantly lifted in 2009 through the announcement that Vince Vaughn would become a permanent member of the LBW organsiational Committee.
This inclusion has also seen the addition of the "VV" or "Vince Veto" to the terms of reference for the event.
A proposed sequel, LLW, has been be plagued with organsiational issues and at this stage appears to be on permanent hiatus.
