Lachute earthquake 2011

Story
On Wednesday march 16 at around 1:37 pm, a 4.3 magnitude earthquake struck eastern Canada in Quebec. The epicenter was thought to be 16 km NWN from Lachute, Quebec. Many residents in the area described the earthquake "like a heavy truck driving down the road" but soon many realised that there was an earthquake. Only a few structures suffered minor damage and no injuries were reported. This is Quebec's 1 of many minor earthquakes that occur each year.
Aftermath
It is not clear how much the damage was costing but, has a small effect on the cities economy . Many reports on television talk about Quebec's history of earthquakes and how the residents of the province reacted with these natural disasters. Of the 12,000
inhabitants, 1,200 lost there power but, the city's electrical team quickly restored the power to there homes.
