Kunal Sehrawat is the president of Delhi State National Students' Union of India. On June 9, 2021, Neeraj Kundan, National President of NSUI appointed him as NSUI Delhi State president. After being elected as state president of Delhi NSUI senior Congress leaders like Imran Pratapgarhi and Devendra Yadav congratulated Kunal for his new responsibility. On July 7th under the leadership of Kunal Sehrawat a protest was held against the hike of fuel price in India. Earlier in 2017 Kunal was elected as vice president of Delhi University Students Union. Working as vice president of DUSU in 2018 Kunal installed sanitary vending machine in 32 colleges of Delhi University
