Ksenia Shoygu

Ksenia Sergeevna Shoygu (, born 10 January 1991 in Moscow, Russia) - a founder and head of HeroRace. She is the youngest daughter of the Minister of Defence of Russian Federation Sergei Shoygu.
Biography
Ksenia Shoygu was born on January 10th 1991 in Moscow in the family of Sergey Shoygu and businessman Irina Antipina. In 2013, she graduated from Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). During her education at the MGIMO, Ksenia studied International economic relations. She chose the topic of the dissertation «Foreign direct investment». Ksenia gives a course of lectures for graduate students of MGIMO (U) MFA of Russia.
Ksenia stands at the origins of the OCR movement in Russia.
In 2013, Ksenia organized the first obstacle race in Russia HeroRace together with her friends. The race covers two different location types: military training grounds (under the auspices of the Russian Ministry of Defense) and civil locations. Its program also includes special corporate days, encouraging the fee-based participation of business community representatives.
During the leadership of Ksenia Shoygu, the sporting event reached the national and international level: HeroRace was first held in Azerbaijan and Germany .
Successful holding of the HeroRace led to the creation of the HeroLeague team by Ksenia Shoygu, which is developing and promoting amateur and professional sports in Russia. Among the most popular sporting events are the various formats of HeroRace: the first All-Russian half-marathon with a synchronous start «Zabeg» and obstacle course «Arena of Heroes» .

* Ksenia speaks English and Chinese, learns Arabic.
* She starred in the episodic role of in Burnt by the Sun 2: Citadel by Nikita Mikhalkov.
* Ksenia’s older sister Yulia Shoygu is Vice-President of the Russian Psychological Society.
* Ksenia enjoys sports tourism, singing, dancing and jogging (ran a half marathon (21.1 km) in St. Petersburg in 2018 and took part in the Singapore Marathon (42 km 195 m).
* Ksenia’s favorite musical performer is Basta.
