Kristel Kruustük née Viidik (born 17 June 1989) is an Estonian entrepreneur and product tester. In 2012, together with her future husband Marko Kruustük, she won $25,000 at the AngelHack global competition. As a result, in March 2013 the couple were able to found Testlio, now a thriving mobile app testing company. Biography After matriculating from high school in 2008, Kristel Viidik visited her older sister in London. There she met a number of people who encouraged her to study information technology. That autumn she enrolled at the Information Technology College in Tallinn. During her second year, she founded a small company for testing web-based applications. On graduating in 2011, she and her friend Marko Kruustük moved to San Francisco hoping to gain further insights into the world of information technology. But two weeks later, not adapting to the city, they first moved to the Dominican Republic for a couple of months and then to London. There, after working as a software tester for a company designing platforms for banks, she realized there was a need for creating her own testing company.<ref nameelu/><ref nameew/> Hoping to raise capital for her venture, together with Marko, who had now become her husband, she entered the AngelHack Business Contest in London, submitting a Testlio protype which ranked them third among 64 contestants.
