Acclaro is an international translation and localization company that was founded in Irvington, New York, USA, in 2002. The company serves such industries as advertising, retail, technology, consumer products, energy, financial services, health information services, and cultural and nonprofit organizations.
Acclaro currently has U.S. offices in New York, Boston, and San Francisco as well as international operations and affiliates in Paris, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Tokyo and Bangkok. The company employs linguists in over 40 countries around the world.
Michael Kriz is Acclaro’s founder and president.
History
Acclaro was founded in 2002 in Irvington, New York. The company now has eight offices and affiliates on four continents.

Acclaro consults with companies to help place localization professionals as employees and contractors. They help recruit full-time permanent localization experts, put together a staff of temporary or contract localization employees, source, screen, and present candidates for specific assignments, and manage all HR issues. Acclaro also provides payroll services, training of any contract employees, and localization staffing project management. They set up program operations and best practices for new customers and customer divisions.
