Kris Kross Amsterdam

Kris Kross Amsterdam was founded in 2011 by brothers Jordy and Sander Huisman. Originally a club event in Amsterdam nightlife, it features both brothers as DJs, mixing various music styles like R&B, hip hop, funk, soul, pop and house. In the summer of 2014, Yuki Kempees joined the group as their MC, completing Kris Kross Amsterdam as a performance and DJ collective.
The name is a deliberate nod to the famous rap duo Kris Kross from the early 90s, known for their hit single "Jump".
Besides the Amsterdam events, Kris Kross Amsterdam is known as a performing trio since 2014, including Yuki Kempees as its MC. The group is known for its varied sound and music production.
Signed to Dutch label Spinnin' Records in 2015, the group releases its debut single 'Until the Morning' together with MC CHOCO, exclusively on Spotify in summer 2015, entering the global Viral Chart at #4. 'Until The Morning' is supported by DJs like David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Afrojack, R3hab, and Zeds Dead.
Meanwhile, the group continues its Amsterdam club events and hosts its own area at Dutch dance festival Mysteryland, including a guest performance by DJ Jazzy Jeff.
