Kris Jenkins-Reed is a sophomore cornerback and punt returner for the 2009 Hanover College football team. Last year as a freshman he played considerable minutes as a freshman and started from the second game of the season against Waynesburg University. Played quarterback, Wide Receiver, Punt and Kick Returner in high school for Evangel Christian. Passed for 2870 yards and 31 touchdowns on 198-of-340 passing at Evangel. Also ran for 1146 yards and 13 touchdowns on 110 carries. Also ranked among the state's top 10 basketball recruits. Before moving to Indianapolis to play at Covenant Prep Academy. Led his team to the sectional finals before losing to North Central which won the state championship. Averaged 24.3 points per game and was selected to participate in the Indiana All-Star game in 2007 benches 210, squats 315 and has a 40-inch vertical ... also offered by Ball State, Illinois State, Indiana State, Morehead State, Morgan State, Fresno State, and Texas Christian University.

Averaged 21.2 minutes per game as a true freshman Scored 69 points and dished out 42 assists ... Scored six points, grabbed three rebounds, dished out two assists and tallied two steals in his collegiate debut against Wisconsin..Scored a then career-high nine points and dished out four assists in the Cardinals’ victory over Eastern Michigan..Made his first career start against Purdue and scored a career-high 13 points ...
