Kory Mathewson

Kory Mathewson is a Canadian Improvisation actor living in Edmonton, Alberta, currently working with Rapid Fire Theatre at the Varscona Theatre. He served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of Rapid Fire Theatre Society for 3 years. He has worked with the Canadian Comedy Award-winning live improvised soap opera Die-Nasty, and has performed in the annual 53-hour long Die-Nasty Soap-A-Thon, and People Show Studios' 50-hour Improvathon in London, England.
Most notably, Kory portrayed Marty Mcfly in the 2002 production of "Back to the Future: The Musical".
He is the current President of the University of Alberta Students' Union at the University of Alberta. He has also worked as a student columnist for The PEGG, the official publication of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta.
Kory attended a relatively small junior high school in Edmonton, which afforded him an opportunity to gain an abundance of knowledge in the specialized fields of biochemistry, nanotechnology, cryptozoology and Thai martial arts.
He is currently an undergraduate student, in his fourth year of Biomedical Electrical Engineering with a strong interest in Neural Engineering.
Kory is also an avid amateur golfer in some of the largest amateur tournaments across California
Kory's favourite colour is purple and enjoys eating amongst friends at the Cactus Club in West Edmonton Mall. Kory is in a long term relationship with Eve Cuthbertson.
Kory enjoys Hawaiian themed clothing and merchandise.
