Knockharley Cricket Club

Knockharley Cricket Club was founded in 1982 and is the only Irish cricket club in County Meath competing in the Leinster Cricket Union. The LCU is one of four Irish provincial regions within the Irish Cricket Union.
Knockharley's grounds are situated at Veldonstown, Brownstown close to Navan in County Meath. The club moved from their old grounds in Ashfield, Beauparc County Meath in 1996<ref name="DroghedaIndependent15-06-01"/>. The old grounds at Ashfield were the host to many representative ladies matches, including an Inter-provincial in 1993 between North Leinster and Ulster. In 1995 the club also hosted an under 19 Ladies International match between Ireland and Denmark which was held there as a follow-up to the Ladies European Cup held earlier that year.
The clubs most recent success came in 2006 when the 1st XI won the Middle 2 Leinster Cup defeating Mullingar at North Kildare.
Currently Knockharley fields three competitive teams.
