Introduction The Meteor Ladies Basketball Club was founded in 1965, what makes it the oldest ladies basketball club in Ireland. Its area of influence includes Sandyford and Balally in southern Dublin. Its achievements (see below) make it one of the most important ladies basketball clubs in Ireland. Location Its 13 competitive teams, ranging from U-11 to senior, train and play in the main sports hall of the Naomh Ólaf GAA Centre.
