Kinetophobia

Kinetophobia, or kinesophobia, is a pathological fear of movement, either of oneself or other things. The fear is suffered due to the feeling that a person could lose control or collide with other people or things, which can cause injury. Amaxophobia, the fear of riding in a car, is a branch of kinetophobia.
Overview
Sufferers of kinetophobia may be afraid of experiencing vertigo. The fear can be managed by talk therapy. The fear can derive from an excessive sense of fragility or thoughts of susceptibility to injury. Kinetophobia is sometimes associated with migraine when head movements induce fear of head movements due to pain. The term kinetophobia is sometimes used metaphorically as a sign of a trend towards immobility within culture, or in relation to migration.
The term kinetophobia is derived from the Greek kinein "move" and phóbos "fear".
