Macrophobia

Macrophobia is the fear of waiting for an extensive amount of time.
Overview
The etymological root of the term is substantiated with the the prefix macro whcih is etymologically of Greek origins meaning big. A prominent realm wherein this phenomenon occurs is on the internet when it buffers or general slowness in one's broadband. Among some macrophobes their phobia results in agoraphobia, a fear of open or public places. This is because they might feel that the available public services amenities are inadequate at meeting their needs, such as with long waits at a bus stop. The phenomenon has also been described as occurring during waits for the doctor's office, at a grocery store, or delays during certain routes. Noteworthy situations wherein the conditions could be sparked includes lines at the Space Mountain. Some macrophobes have ascribed as one of its symptoms it being a chronic condition.
