Kim Seeling Smith

Kim Seeling Smith is an American born Entrepreneur, motivational speaker, employee retention and human resources authority who now resides in Sydney, Australia. She is also a published author.
Early life and career
Kim Seeling Smith was born in the United States and was trained as a Certified Public Accountant, who worked for KPMG, and who later worked as a recruiter. She emigrated to New Zealand in 2002, and then to Sydney, Australia, in 2008.
Published Works
Smith was a co-author and contributor to the book "101 Great Ways to Enhance Your Career" (ISBN 0979499275), which also features Brian Tracy.
Human Resources Theories
Smith is the originator and proponent of the "Post Industrial Revolution Revolution" (PIRR) theory of human resources management. Smith describes the theory as "A movement where companies are re-designing the way they recruit and manage their staff, allowing their workforce to be more innovative, creative and solutions oriented - to thrive and produce their best work." The theory includes what Smith refers to as the 5 Cs:

* Classify and manage appropriately
* Compensate fairly
* Use Currencies of Choice to engage your workforce
* Communicate using a FOCUSed framework - Frequency, Job Objectives, Career Management, Underlying Motivators and Strengths
