Kiki Ayers is an American journalist, publicist and media personality. Ayers started working as a Special Events Assistant at BET in 2010. In 2012 she worked as a Production Assistant at MTV2. In 2013 she worked as the Music Programming Manager for Sean Combs at Revolt TV. In 2017 she launched her PR Firm Ayers Publicity, LLC. She made the HBCU Buzz 30 under 30 List IN 2017 and landed the cover of "The Connect Magazine." She was honored with a White Rose Award by the Purest Academy in 2018. Early life Ayers grew up in a Trinidadian-American family in Bremerton, Washington. She attended Olympic College at the age of 16, then transferred to Howard University in Washington, D.C., where she received a Bachelors degree in broadcast journalism. Career Ayers started her media career at the age of 16, by writing for her local community college newspaper “The Olympian.” She landed her first internship opportunity at the age of 17 working for the local daily newspaper “The Kitsap Sun.” She went on to intern at MTV in New York City the summer of 2010; she also interned at BET before becoming a production assistant. </br> After graduating from Howard, Ayers worked as an Associate Producer at the The Jerry Springer Show before accepting a Post Production job at MTV in 2012. </br> Ayers moved to Los Angeles in 2013 to work for Sean Combs as a Music Programming Manager at Revolt TV and left in 2015 to pursue journalism full time.</br> In 2016 Ayers worked as a freelance reporter for multiple publications that included Global Grind and XXL Magazine. She founded her PR company Ayers Publicity in 2017.</br> Ayers has become a public speaker, hosting events at universities, women empowerment conferences and business summits.
