Kids Home Phonics World

Kids Home Phonics World, or Kids Home, is a language institute, co-educational day school located in Erandwane in Pune, India. The institution is a part of the Kids Home Group established in year 2000. Kids Home was founded in 2000 by Dhwani Kapadia Desai. She was the first person in Pune to start a Phonics School. She is also renowned national level volleyball player. She has represented India at many instances.Dhruvi Kapadia is the Creative Head at Kids Home Phonics World.
About
The school caters to pupils from kindergarten up to class 7 and the medium of instruction is the English language. The school is affiliated to the English Marathon, Pune, which conducts the State Level Marathon Examinations at the close of class 10. The school is divided into two sections viz. pre-primary, primary .
The school is a permanently non-aided, run by Kids Home. It was founded by Dhwani Kapadia in 2000. The school runs in two sessions. The strength of the school is considerable.

Admissions and curriculum
Curriculum
The school follows the syllabus prescribed by Dhwani kapadia Desai. English is the medium of instruction. Students have the option of learning Abacus or Grammer from 1th to 10th standard.
The academic year, which commences in June and concludes in April, consists of two terms. The first term is from June till October/November and the second term commences after a three week break and continues till April. Examinations are held at the end of every term. The courses of studies extend from kindergarten to class 10, at the end of which students appear for the Final Examinations.
Extracurricular activities
Inter-house debates, quizzes, dramatics and sporting competitions are part of the cultural lives of the students. Sports activities at Kids Home include football, cricket, basketball, Table tennis, and Chess. The school stood second in the recently concluded Sakal Schoolympics 2014 which was organized by the Sakal Media Group.
Kids Home has demonstrated excellence in quizzing for the past several years, having won the English Maraton School Quiz Olympiad in 2014-15.

The school has a library with 200 books that are accessible to the students throughout school hours.
