Community Night Out

Community Night Out is a shopping initiative that encourages consumers to patronize their local Community First with the A Night Of Giving Event Campaign. The Community First term parallels the phrase Buy Local but is specifically focused on benefiting local non-profit organizations and community causes. This event will be held annually and is initially scheduled to be held on December 5, 2014.
This initiative was developed to allow consumers to have a more positive impact on their community by supporting local brick and mortar merchants that donate a portion of sales to local non-profits. The focus of Community Night Out is to also raise awareness for a lot of important causes and needs within local communities.
The Community Night Out events will typically be organized by chamber of commerces, non-for-profit organizations, local city councils, and community business groups.
