Kh Siile Anthony (born 9 June 1969) is a philanthropist, humanitarian and an Indian politician. He is best known for his social work particularly social interaction and counseling of the youths, delivering lectures, imparting training and motivating youth. He is a recipient of Swami Vivekananda Smriti Karmayogi Award 2018 for Social Service. Early life and education Kh Siile Anthony was born in June 1969 to a Poumai Naga family in Purul Village, Senapati District, Manipur. Kh Siile Anthony is a Roman Catholic and attended Don Bosco School Mao, Manipur and passed his matriculation in 1986. He attended his pre university at DM College of Science, Imphal and completed in the year 1988. He earned a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Hindu College, Delhi University in 1992 and a master in Public Administration from Rajasthan University in 1997. He also did his master in Business Administration from IGNOU New Delhi in 2001. Work experience He began his career in 1994 as an Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, Intelligence Bureau,MHA Government of India. From 1995 - 2002, he became the Section Officer (Gen.), Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CEERI), Pilani Constituent Unit of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi. He joined the National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD-NERC) Guwahati, Ministry of RD, Government of India as the Administrative Officer from 2002-2005. Then joined as the Research Officer (Planning) North Eastern Council (NEC) Shillong, Ministry of DONER in 2005 till 2007. In 2007, in reversion to CSIR and posted at NEIST, Jorhat with under Secretary scale and resigned and joined NSIC. The nature of assignment was general administration, establishment, personnel service matters, recruitment and promotion, etc. From 2007-2011, he was the Deputy General Manager (HR), I/C General Manager (HR) and Head of Department National Small Industries Corporation, Ltd (NSIC)- a Government of India Enterprise, Okhlandi, Estate, New Delhi. From 2011-2015, he was the Joint Registrar , Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, looking to the general administration of the university, Estate Officer, Manpower Planning, Training, Hindi Cell, Vigilance and Confidential Cell, etc, and all personnel and service matters of the non-teaching category. He joined as the Director in 2015 for Human Resource Development and Employment, North Eastern Council (NEC), Shillong, Ministry of DONER. He look to the affairs of regional planning on education, sports, skill development and training, social sector. He monitors the projects for infrastructure development in NER, examination and scrutiny of the project proposal and assist Planning Advisor and Secretary, NEC on planning and policy matters, etc. His political vision is to work for the development of the country with a new India vision and to work for peace and harmony in the country.
