Kent McManigal is an American political activist, who ran as an independent candidate ("Radical Libertarian") for the 2008 presidential election but stopped actively campaigning in 2007. According to his homepage, he still advocates himself as a write-in candidate. McManigal's premises are that government is "bad", that tax in any form is theft and that education should be a private affair with no government involvement whatsoever.
