Kendall Goo

Kendall Goo (b. February 5, 1972, Kauai, Hawaii) is one of Royce Gracie's eight trained black belts in Gracie Jiu Jitsu. He is undefeated as the Hawaiian State Heavy Weight Jiu-Jitsu Champion. He was an underbelt World Jiu-Jitsu Champion in 1997 and 2001.
Biography
Goo graduated in 1990 from Kapaa High School, in Kauai. He headed to the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a full scholarship for football. In 1996, he graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, with a BS in Kinesiology and Leisure Science (KLS) and was a 2000 Graduate of the University of Phoenix, Hawaii Campus, in a Post Bacc study in Secondary Physical Education. However in 1994, during his undergrad years, Goo began training under Relson Gracie, learning the techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Kendall now has a new school called Pure Jiu Jitsu with accadmies in Arizona and Hawaii. Kendall now works for the Phoenix Police Department and teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, and Self Defense techniques at Pure Jiu-Jitsu in Phoenix, AZ
Accomplishments
*2 time World Super Heavy Weight Champion Gold Medalist in two different belt levels (blue, purple belt).
*2000 Gracie International, Columbus, Ohio, purple belt champion.
*2004 Arnold Gracie World Submission Championship super heavy weight brown belt champion.
*Defeated Baret Yoshida (black belt) in gi and no gi competition as a purple belt in two different tournaments in one year.
*Defeated BJ Penn when they fought as purple belts.
