Kendal Marcy

Kendal Marcy is an American country music banjoist, keyboardist, mandolin player, songwriter and singer. He formed a country music trio in the late 1980's with his two brothers, Kevin and Kris, called The Marcy Brothers. However, his most significant contributions to music have come from his work with country music artist Brad Paisley. Marcy has been a part of Paisley's band, the Drama Kings, since 1999.
Biography
Kendal Marcy is originally from Oroville, California, near Chico, California. In 1988, Marcy formed The Marcy Brothers trio with his two brothers Kevin and Kris. They released two albums for divisions of Warner Music Group and charted six singles on the Billboard country charts. Their highest was "Cotton Pickin' Time" at #34.
After becoming friends with Brad Paisley and helping with his band, Marcy joined Brad Paisley's backing band, The Drama Kings in 2001. The original keyboard player left the band, so he provided a multi-talented replacement. He has also played on several of Paisley's albums.
Marcy is a Freemason as well as a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and was recognized by the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite for his charitable work with Paisley in 2006.
Marcy appeared in a short film called "Numero Dos"directed by Paisley's wife, Kimberly, in 2007.
