Ken Ying

Ken Ying (,; born,1970),in Shanghai,is a Chinese business who is the founder of PATEO and Energy Source Communications (China) Ltd., and CEO of Shanghai Qinggan Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.
Introduction
Ken Ying established Energy Source in 2001, the company has won numerous awards.In 2005, he has been employed as visiting professor by many universities, including Tsinghua University. Meanwhile, Ken is Vice Chairman of Shanghai Multimedia Industry Association, and the only Master Tutor fully engaged in business with recognition from the Ministry of Education of P.R.C. In 2009, with about 10 years’ experience in the advertising industry, Ken Ying established PATEO, a company specializing in development and services of intelligent onboard information service system.
Life
# From 2006 to 2009,Energy Source took a lead in the development of interactive integrated marketing and e-commerce in China’s auto industry, providing services for over 60% of auto brands in the industry, including Shanghai Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, FAW Audi, SAIC Motor, etc.
# In 2010,PATEO developed inkaNet1.0, and launched world’s first connected vehicle with 3G technology jointly with SAIC Motor, 2 years earlier than BMW; besides.
# From 2010 to 2014,PATEO has subjected inkaNet to 5 OTA upgrades, and developed iVoka, a new product of human-machine speech interaction technology. iVoka1.0.
Honor
PATEO’s representative products, such as inkaNet, iVoka, iVokaMINI X and iVokaL, one-touch calling, emergency rescue, surrounding life information, social networking, etc. The IOV mode created by PATEO has won recognition from numerous Chinese and foreign auto brands, which have thus established all-round cooperation with PATEO, including luxury brands (e.g. Volvo and DS), JV brands (e.g. Dongfeng Peugeot and Citroen) and independent Chinese brands (e.g. Roewe, MG, BAIC Motor, Chery).
PATEO has now become a national high- and new-tech enterprise, a software product and service provider certified by State Intellectual Property Office, a member of 864 Project Team, and a special pilot enterprise of key patent strategy. Besides, it has won over 600 intellectual property rights, about 50 software copyrights and trademark rights, participated in the preparation of about 10 national standards on auto informatization, and led the preparation of several industrial standards.
