Ken Dereste Dorcely

Ken Dereste Dorcely (born October 01, 1989) is an American poet, blogger, and podcast host. His first publication, Life Tone Changed was released May 18, 2013. He hosts a weekly podcast, Shootin' It with Jayme & Kenney. He is currently working on a collaborative chapbook entitled Two Flavors with fellow author Jayme Karales.
Early life
He was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1989. Dorcely spent a large portion of his life living in Altamonte Springs, Florida with a number of different roommates.
Career
In 2013, he wrote Life Tone Changed. On an episode of Shootin' It with Jayme & Kenney he revealed he did this as an emotional response to his mother's untimely passing and due to facing multiple situations of unrequited love. The poetry collection received positive reviews and was described by Nostrovia Writing as, "refreshing to read, a real blast of sunrise illuminating the scenery surrounding you in life."
Podcast
Dorcely co-hosts the podcast, ', alongside friend and fellow author, Jayme Karales, where the two often discuss a variety of topics while under the influence of alcohol.
