Keith McVey is a mailman from Akron, Ohio who has saved three lives on his route. Life Saving Record About twenty years ago, McVey saw a boy who was going to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge into a snowbank. After the boy jumped, McVey jumped too. After fearing that the boy would be hit by a car, McVey held off traffic long enough to get the boy out of the snowbank. He covered the boy in blankets to keep him alive until help arrived. Then about two years ago, he saw a young girl about 70 to 80 feet out in Lake Nesmith drowning. They both went underwater, and he got her to shore safely. And the latest save was when he saw a man on the ground, not breathing. There was another man there, trying to revive the man. Being trained in CPR, McVey started chest conpresions until the man started breathing on his own.
