Dean Rowland

Dean Rowland is a British Television Presenter, Model, Actor and Blogger who rose to fame with the British public after staring in the hit Sky One docusoap Pineapple Dance Studios in 2009 managing girl band Third Bar, as well as becoming infamous for his controversial and outspoken opinions.
Early life
Before his rise to fame, Rowland was born in Mayfair, London to a Maltese mother and an English father in December 1989. His youth saw him begin to develop his modelling career, landing campaigns at the age of 7 for Burberry and Valentino. Shortly after, a move further east to Bow where he attended Morpeth secondary school, Dean discovered his love for the arts which lead to a placement at the world renowned Sylvia Young Theatre School, training in dance, music and drama.
Teenage Years
During Deans teens, his modelling career was in full swing, and at the age of 14 won a years contract on the books of Millennium Models after wowing the judges at the prestigious Model of the year competition. After 3 months into his contract, due to disputes with the management, Dean terminated his contract and signed with the agency Scallywags gaining him frequent catwalk and fashion work.
TV Career
Deans first break on Television came in the guise of a boy jumping out of a bin on the former British Breakfast show The Big Breakfast, as well as small extra roles on The Bill, Eastenders and Casualty. Following this, in 2008 Dean starred in the BBC3 make-over show Hotter Than My Daughter with ex-Atomic Kitten singer Liz McClarnon as a make-over judge. In 2009 "Dean" became a household name staring in the Sky One docusoap Pineapple Dance Studios as the manager of the now defunct girl band Third Bar. Dean was equally known and remembered for his acid tongue and controversial opinions, particularly his frank discussion about pale and ginger people which has had many hits on YouTube. Off the back of Pineapple, Dean began to gain more offers including a stint at Celebrity Boot Camp with close friend Shola Ama and offered a role in hit ITV2 reality show The Only Way Is Essex.
Blog
In 2011, Dean began writing a blog in which he voiced his opinions on showbiz gossip as well as matters within his personal life.
