KCAY 100.7 FM "Key 100" is an Oldies radio station serving the city of St. George, Utah, broadcasting from a site atop Big Mountain in the north-central area of Washington County, Utah. History KCAY originally began as in 2019 as a vacant allotment authorized in Caliente, Nevada within the FM Table of Allotments. SSR Communications, Inc. acquired the rights to and became the initial permittee of KCAY in the FCC's 2021 broadcast spectrum auction Auction 109. On January 3, 2022, SSR Communications filed an application with the FCC to relocate the KCAY authorization from Caliente, Nevada to Dammeron Valley, Utah, a small community located approximately fifteen miles north of St. George, which the FCC approved on June 15, 2022. In September, 2024 however, over two years after the KCAY permit grant had reached Final Order status, the FCC reversed its grant of the KCAY permit in Dammeron Valley and directed SSR Communications to restore KCAY to Caliente. The FCC had never reversed a Final Order application grant of a full power FM broadcast facility until that point. On March 3, 2025, the FCC allowed an alternative application filed by SSR Communications for KCAY to relocate to Enterprise, Utah. SSR Communications placed the station, known as Key 100, on the air on April 26, 2025. Broadcast Facility KCAY broadcasts from a former TD-2 Microwave Communications tower owned by Dixie Power on Big Mountain, Utah, within Dixie National Forest in Washington County, Utah. KCAY broadcasts with 200 Watts of Effective Radiated Power on 100.7 FM and has a pending application to move to 107.7 FM. Failed Sale To Gerdes And Associates On August 5, 2023, SSR Communications, Inc. sold KCAY to Gerdes And Associates for $250,000. The transaction did not consummate by its intended Closing Date of January, 2024.
