Kattappa is a fictional character of the two-part epic historical fiction film written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli and produced by Arka Media Works. The character was created by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad and was portrayed by Sathyaraj. The character first appeared in 2015 in The Beginning and and later in The Conclusion (2017). Character biography Kattapa is a skilled fighter and a loyal warrior of the Mahismati kingdom. Kattapa is a slave who swore to protect the ruler in the time of war. After the release of the first film, the character instantly became the most talked about characters of Indian cinema. |
