In 1988 Katherine pioneer in the crusade to help children in low-income housing with a four and a half year vision for the Kidfest adventure with a modest dream to entain and help keeping the kids off the street. Katherine founder of Kidfest, and her own TV Ministry for children, In Durham, North Carolina On The Public Access Channel for over ten years. Katherine departed her live on September 3, 2009 after a long period of illness. She enjoyed working with children. Katherine was married to recording artist Charles Alexander. Who help promote, and manage all the projects she was working on. She worked mostly on her TV Ministry. GOSPELFEST FOR CHILDREN until the last days of life. She have served as the founder of Latch-key Kid Production, and (CUPP)Community of Under privileged People, and volunteered in several youth events at the Salvation Army, and the Boys Club in Durham, North Carolina, while maintaining the very well-known children variety program-KIDFEST and GOSPELFEST for children. Katherine also served as both secretary and treasurer of the community access club in Durham, North Carolina. See Also
