Princess Karina Bagration-Moukhransky (born 1978) Biography Born as Karina de Kharissoff in Kiev, she is descended by heredity from the Abdank Polish noble family of Malchewsky and the Russian noble families of de Khanzhenkov and de Kharissoff on her fathers side and Polish hereditary nobility on mothrs side(Assembly of Russian Nobility, Russia,Moscow). She married H.S.H. Prince Dmitry Bagration-Moukhransky (* 1971), son of late H.S.H. Prince Georgy Bagration-Moukhransky and of his wife Ludmila Ajimolayev at Kiev, on 25 October 2003. She belongs to the Bagrationi family. As such she accorded the courtesy of a Princess title and is styled as Her Serene Highness (Russian Nobility Law). Education She was schooled in UNESCO School in Kiev # 80 and was educated privately in Paris, France and also in Anguin High School the in Anguin, California, USA in 1990. She is an honors graduate from UNESCO School in Kiev and graduated from the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kiev and qualified in Translation/Interpreting/World Literature and Nice Summer University. She holds major degrees of BA, MbA and Doctor of Philosophy, and has also read Informatics, Theory of Translation, Foreign Languages and Comparative Folklore at university and school level in Kiev, Ukraine. She also graduated twice from a school organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and qualified in Translation/Guide-Interpreting/Protocol/Etiquette (honors graduate) and the school of Natural Medicine of which she holds a BA degree(School of Natural Medicine, Kiev, Ukraine). Princess Karina Bagration-Moukhransky's doctoral research was the first done in Ukraine on folklore, specifically on the works of Walter Scott and Robert Burns and their inter-relation with Ukrainian historical and cultural heritage. She is also the author of several scientific articles which aim to study Celtic cultural heritage( National Taras Shevtchenko University). Career Since 2000 Princess Karina Bagration-Moukhransky has been actively involved in promoting global peace, security and education dialogue and contributing to the activities of various international organizations. Her desire to promote cultural and historic heritage found its embodiment in membership of RNA “Russian Nobility Assembly” www.rna.ru. There, she used to head the genealogy service for youth. Being a member of committee of honor of “Innocence in Danger” www.innocenceendanger.org organization she actively contributes her efforts into make a cyberspace much safer for young users. She introduced the activities of Innocence in Danger to the First Lady of Ukraine during the gala of foundation “Ukraine 3000 “,organized several seminars on children protection in the Internet for parents in Kiev. Interacted with charitable association “Ministry of Children defense” and introduced the activities of the IID to its president, the head of “Women's International Club” in Kiev. Helped to the charity in Cannes cote D Azur and Mr Mariani (CNRS) for the clothes delivery to Senegal(Africa)Interacted with Frederic Bendite and creator of Logiciel de Contrôle Parental d'Activité,a partner of Innocence in Danger. Created the site on search of missing children which existed during a year .Through IID promoted activities to the most famous child protection in Ukraine Media “Magnolia TV” Began to write a guide for parents to protect children into Internet Worked as the consultant for the project concerning women and children protection (especially the emigrants) in Ukraine. Willing to put Aids sufferers more successfully in touch with each other she became the head of anti Aids media project"Not Alone".http://hiv.freehostia.com/from-the-head-of-the-project/ She has also addressed public and expert audiences, and delivered keynote addresses at several international conferences. More recently she delivered an address to the XXII International Congress on the Family in Kiev, Ukraine alongside with Mr. Francis M. O’Donnell, Resident Coordinator of the United Nations system in Ukraine She has appeared on national TV in Ukraine and France as well as in various print and internet media. Due to her professional activities of interpreter/translator/consultant and her interaction with “Samipa”Media (Principality of Monaco) H.S.H.Princess Karina Bagration-Moukhransky participated in several Monaco related projects. She helped with redacting of the text for the film dedicated to an Arctic expedition of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco (by “Samipa “Media).Later, followed her reception in Palace of Monaco and due to subsequent permission of former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Monaco Mr. Henry Fissore and representatives of French Embassy for the first time presented the Principality during the Francophone week ( Semaine de la Francophonie 2007).In this respect she successfully organized the conference , exhibition and an open lesson for schoolchildren willing to deepen their knowledge of culture history and present life of Francophone countries, namely Monaco. The prominent place in her presentation was given to Special Olympics photos in a framework of Faces of Monaco. Being a former professional tennis player and due to her deep personal conviction that sport is a guarantor of values of tolerance and sharing, that it goes far beyond religious, philosophic, social and ethnic differences and facilitates understanding, mutual respect and the relationships between people she supports initiatives connecting with peace and sport promotion Karina Bagration-Moukhransky is also an artist, model and a networker. She participated in tentative series of “Repo Show” by Edmund Druilhet (“Dragon Lion Media” Hollywood) and is currently the associate producer of "Goddess" documentary film and media project. Her more recent appearances were in “Fleur d Orange” magazine as an ambassador of a “Beau Bijou” jewelry brand and in FTV review during Summer Ball in Principality of Monaco as well as "Art for Children" Innocence in Danger Gala which took place in Berlin.
