Karen Gondoly is the CEO and Vice President of Product Management at Leostream Corporation, a leading vendor-independent software company specializing in remote desktop access and virtualization solutions. Her company won a Technology & Engineering Emmy Award in 2022 for contributions to virtualization technology, recognized for advancing remote desktop solutions.
Education
B.S. and M.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from MIT, with thesis work at NASA Langley Research Center.
Awards
Technology & Engineering Emmy Award: Leostream, under Gondoly’s leadership, was honored at the 74th Engineering, Science & Technology Emmy Awards by the Television Academy for its remote access and desktop connection management software. This technology enables secure, high-performance remote production environments for news and entertainment organizations. Gondoly highlighted the award as a testament to Leostream’s innovation in empowering media and entertainment companies. The award was shared between Leostream Co-Founder & Chief Architect Geoffrey Crawshaw and CTO William Brinkley.
CRN Tech Innovator Award Finalist: Leostream was named a finalist for the 2023 CRN Tech Innovator Awards in the Virtualization/Virtual Desktop Infrastructure category, recognizing the Leostream Remote Desktop Access Platform’s ability to support diverse hosting platforms and address customer needs. Gondoly emphasized the platform’s role in enabling seamless work-from-anywhere environments.
