RHUB

RHUB (Real-Time Collaboration HUB) is a technology company based in San Jose, Carliforina, a provider of appliances for web conferencing and remote desktop support.
History
The company was founded in 2005 by Larry Dorie and Dr. John Mao. The product development started in 2003 by Dr. John Mao. Initially the product was to address the difficult firewall traversal issue in web conferencing. Soon the two founders found that the market needed an appliance solution for web conferencing to facilitate deployment, improve security and eliminate monthly subscription costs to end users. After several rounds of trials and errors, they settled down the hardware selection --- an embedded Linux-based communication device, which is not only reliable but also cost effective and consumes less than 4.5 watts power. In the same year when the product was shipped to the market, it was recognized as one of "2007 Tech Innovators Finalists".
Products
RHUB provides web conferencing appliance and remote desktop support appliance. The company offers integrated free audio conferencing service for both the product lines.
