Kamal Pathmasiri, SLAS, is the Secretary to the Ministry of Provincial Councils and Local Government. Prior to the appointment he was the Government Agent (Colombo). Education Pathmasiri received his primary and secondary education at Tangalle Boys' School, Tangalle, Sri Lanka. He holds a master's degree in Public Administration from the Postgraduates Institute of Management (PIM) in University of Sri Jayawardanapura. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Arts from the University of Peradeniya. Career Pathmasiri is Secretary to the Ministry of Provincial Councils and Local Government. He assumed his duties in September 2015 under Minister Faiszer Musthapha. Prior to this he was the Government Agent (Colombo) from November 2011. Personal life He is married to Pushpa Samaraweera and with two daughters. |
