Fritz Richter III

Fritz Richter III (born September 19, 1954) is an attorney in Nashville, Tennessee. Richter is a partner at Bass, Berry & Sims, PLC, a prominent Tennessee-based law firm. Richter is a fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel. Prior to joining the firm, Richter was with the Employee Plans Division of the Internal Revenue Service and served as Chief Counsel of Office of the Associate Chief Counsel. Additionally, he was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy for the Judge Advocate General's Corps. Background and Education Richter holds a bachelor's degree in Business from Wake Forest University. He obtained a degree in law (JD) from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 1980 and a Master of Law (LLM) from Georgetown Law in 1985. Richter's primary residence is in Franklin, TN. |
