Day Pitney LLP is a U.S. law firm. With 382 attorneys spread across nine offices in four states and the District of Columbia. It is one of the largest regionally based law firms in the Northeastern United States. In 2007, Day Pitney ranked 113th on the National Law Journal's list of the 250 largest American law firms.
History
Day Pitney LLP was formed in January 2007 by the merger of two firms: the Hartford, Connecticut based Day, Berry & Howard LLP (founded 1919), which was one of the largest firms in New England, and Pitney Hardin LLP (founded 1902), which had been based in New York and New Jersey.
