Kahan S. Dhillon Jr.

At the age of 15 Kahan S. Dhillon, Jr. became one of the youngest interns in the history of the US Congress working both in the US House of Representatives and Senate. That same year Mr. Dhillon was recognized and included as a member of the “Who’s Who Among American High School Students Class of 1995/96”. He founded his first venture at the age of 17 which realized revenues that doubled the initial startup investment in only its first year.
At 19 while still attending Marymount College in Palos Verdes, CA he co-founded EFM, Inc. an IT firm specializing in Human Resources Enterprise Systems.
Now 35, Mr. Dhillon to mention a few of current and recently previous involvements serves on numerous Boards and Committees both locally and nationally, recently completed his term as the Chairman of the Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce which serves businesses and the community in an area that is the both the most populated and fastest growing part of Fairfax County, and was appointed in 2005 to the critical County Task Force tasked with making recommendations relating to the future Urban Design, Land Use, and Transportation for Tyson’s Corner. Utilizing his extensive experience working with communities and businesses Mr. Dhillon through 2009 to the present has led a critical effort by the Mount Vernon Council of Citizens Associations (MVCCA) the largest umbrella homeowner HOA organization in Fairfax County as the Chair of its Long Range Strategic Planning Committee through the process of planning for the future of the Mt. Vernon District inclusive of Richmond Highway which is one of the County’s longest continuous Commercial corridors. Additionally most recently Mr. Dhillon served on the Board of Directors for the World Police and Fire Games the 2nd largest Olympic Games in the world that were hosted by Fairfax County throughout DC, MD, and VA.
