Kadeem Alston-Roman

Kadeem Alston-Roman (July 29th, 1990) is a actor, dancer and choreographer. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y.. He attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for Music Art and the Performing Arts(The Fame School) in New York City. He will be attending college in the fall majoring in dance and theater. Although he is only 18 years old, he has choreographed over 20 works. Most of the works consist of modern dance, but he has also choreographed jazz, tap, african and liturgical dance pieces.

Kudos in Choreography

According to the 92nd St. Y.M.C.A. Harkness Dance Center, he is considered one of the "top seven high school choreographers in New York City." In April 2008, he showcased his piece entitled Motherless Chil. It was hailed as a masterpiece by audience members. It has been speculated by other choreographers that within "the next few years he will be in Dance Magazine's "Top 25 to Watch".

Shows and Acting Kudos

A few of Kadeem's acting credits include Ragtime, The Lion King, and The Caucasian Chalk Circle. Because of his acceptance into the 2006 cycle of New York State Summer School of the Arts, he is considered one of the "top 32 young actors" in New York State.
