K-1 Rules Kick Tournament 2007 in Marseilles was a kickboxing event promoted by the K-1 organization. It was a preliminary qualifying tournament for the K-1 World Grand Prix 2007, involving eight fighters based in France and Europe with all bouts fought under K-1 Rules (100 kg/156-220 lbs). Most of the contestants were invitees, although Zabit Samedov had been invited due to his tournament wins at the K-1 Fighting Network Riga 2006 and K-1 Hungary 2006. As well as tournament matches there were also a number of 'Super Fights' fought under K-1 Rules, with the pick of the bouts being Sergei Gur against Patrice Quarteron. In total there were fourteen fighters at the event, representing six countries. The tournament winner was Zabit Samedov who defeated Gregory Tony in the final by way of third round knockout. As a result of his victory Zabit Samedov would qualify for the K-1 World Grand Prix 2007 in Amsterdam. The event was held at the Salle Vallier in Marseilles, France on Friday, January 26, 2007.
