K-1 Burning 2004

K-1 Burning 2004 was a kickboxing event promoted by the K-1 organization. It was a showcase event involving seven 'Super Fights' between 'Team Japan' (a selection of Japanese fighters selected by Bob Sapp) and 'Team World' (a team of international fighters selected by ), with all fights fought under K-1 Rules (100 kg/156-220 lbs). In total there were fourteen fighters at the event, representing five countries.
At the end of the Team Japan vs Team World Super Fights, Team World came out on top with four wins to Team Japan's three. The sold out event was held at the Okinawa Convention Center in Okinawa, Japan on Sunday, February 15, 2004.
