JuxtaCrux with 'Gus and Winty (commonly known as JuxtaCrux) is a radio show that broadcasts from Newcastle Student Radio , 2-3pm every Tuesday. It is hosted by undergraduate students Angus Sutherland (English Literature, BA) and David Winterflood (Geography, BA). Angus ('Gus) chooses music from pre-1990, whereas David (Winty) chooses music from post-1990. This feature gives rise to the show's name, which is an amalgamation of the words 'juxtapose' and 'crux'. Other features of the show include 'News Story of the Week', 'Poetry Corner' and 'What I didn't Learn on the Internet'. The show's current ambassador is Kevin Simm, formerly of Liberty X.
