Justin Graham Davis (born 16 August 1982) is the 2008 Jenga World Champion.
A born champion Davis began playing Jenga at the age of four and 1/2, when he was given the wooden brick game as a birthday gift. He was quickly drawn to the evenly shaped blocks and handled them with what some would call undeniable talent. Davis challenged family and friends to the game and took it a step farther than most. Because Jenga means "to build" in Swahili Davis said he would build each tower so that he knew everything about it, every weakness, and every strong point.
Competition The Jenga World Championships are held annually at the Hilton hotel in Concord, California. Davis first entered the competition at the age of 24 in 2006 where he made it to the finals. Davis did not compete in the 2007 competition but he returned in 2008 ready to compete. He made it to the final and faced Nicholas Romanowsky, a seasoned veteran. The match lasted over an hour and ended when Davis did a risky lower end edge pusher that forced Romanowsky to take the fatal block that ended the game. Davis has not confirmed that he will compete in the 2009 competition but there are high expectations for him in Concord where he has become a local celebrity.
