Justin Ardalan-Raikes

Justin Mathew Ardalan-Raikes Esquire (b. May 27th 1970) Mason's hill, Bromley, London, England is a film and television producer of mixed English and Persian parentage.
Biography
He grew up on the Duke of Wellington's estate in Hampshire England, after his grandfather acquired a plot of land to build on from the Wellesley family. The Raikes and Wellesleys had known each other since ("the Younger") (1777-1848) and Arthur Wellesley, 2nd Duke of Wellington (1807-1884) became life long friends and were often seen traveling and gambling together in London.
In March 2013 as a film producer he gave a two hour lecture at Cambridge university, England to a visiting delegation of finance ministers from Beijing on the subject of 'The current state and future of film finance and digital distribution in Europe'.
He befriended Hollywood movie producer Hal E. Chester in his later years due to their love of films and Hal having made over forty movies. Justin attended Hal's funeral in London in 2012.
He was the oldest civilian ever to gain entry to the British Royal Marines at the age twenty seven.
Family
His father was Abbey Anthony Abolhassan Ardalan (1939-2012), Vali Ma'amooni of the Bani Ardalan of Kurdistan, emanating from one of the last of the ancient royal families and High kings of Persia and Iran having direct descendancy from the Sassanid and Pre-Islamic High kings and Sufi kings of Persia. The family seat was Ecbatana (modern day Hamedan) where the first bible was translated. Although a devout Christian he strongly believed that all religions should be respected with equal measure, citing Persia as the first country where Christianity, Islam and Judaism had prospered side by side peacefully since the earliest of times. In essence he believed in pluriform monotheism.
His mother comes from the noble London-Welsh Raikes family.. The family motto is Honestum præferre utili.
His grandfather was the BBC classics director and producer Raymond Raikes Esquire (1910-1999) who was head of the library committee and a life member of the Garrick Club in London.

His grandmother, Wendy Raikes (nee Howard) descended from the London house of Howard on her patrilineal side.
His sister is the philanthropist Alexandra Ardalan-Raikes MBE who was recognised by the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II of England in the 2008 honours list.
His Godfather is Sir Anthony Milnes Coates, 4th Baronet and Professor of Medical Microbiology at St George's Hospital Medical School, London.
One of his forefathers was Thomas Raikes ("the Elder") (1741-1813), a merchant and banker in London, who was Governor of the Bank of England and a personal friend of prime minister William Pitt the Younger and William Wilberforce.
Another was Henry Cecil Raikes (1838-1891), a British Conservative politician and one of the earliest British politicians to have had their voice recorded. George Edward Gouraud recorded him on behalf of Thomas Edison on the evening of 5 October 1888 at the Crystal Palace in London.
Another was the philanthropist Robert Raikes (1736-1811) of Gloucester, who was the founder of Sunday Schools. There is a statue of him situated in the Savoy garden at Victoria Embankment Gardens in London. There is another situated in his home town of Gloucester.
Another was Thomas Raikes ("the Younger") (1777-1848), a British merchant banker, dandy and diarist who was a close childhood friend, traveling and gambling companion of Beau Brummell, and Arthur Wellesley, 2nd Duke of Wellington. His journals 'Two volumes of Private Correspondence with the 2nd Duke of Wellington and other Distinguished Contemporaries' were published in 1861.
