Julio Celada

Julio Celada, is a clinical psychologist with an emphasis on cognitive behavioural therapy and a physician with a specialization in Rehabilitation and Psychiatry. In addition to having served as a professor in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain) and San Marcos de Lima (Peru), he was the Director of the Spanish Association of Studies in Eating Disorders, Director of the Eating Disorders Department at the Esquerdo Hospital in Spain. Dr. Celada is the founder and director of the Eating and Addictive Disorders Institute (EADI) and served as consultant for the Department of Mental Health in the County of Los Angeles and for the National Mental Health Association of Greater Los Angeles. He is currently the Mental Health Coordinator of Mental Health Department of Los Angeles County. He is also the author of several books and has developed workshops targeted to the Hispanic population on healthy eating habits, parenting skills, anger management, drug and alcohol, relationships and conflict resolution, among others.
