Julie Benlevi-Zeff

Julie Benlevi-Zeff is the founder of JULIB.com and Blinked and is an entrepreneur and expert in the digital recommendation space. She is considered one of the preeminent female founders to launch one of the first, most widely read lifestyle and luxury digital publications in the United States and Europe - publishing content on dining, design, travel, beauty and more, worldwide.
She first launched JULIB.com in New York in 2002 with less than 500 readers and soon expanded to more than 16 markets including New York, Los Angeles, Paris, London, Chicago, Dallas, Boston, Houston, Philadelphia, San Diego, Orange County, The Hamptons, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, San Francisco, as well as a Travel edition. She sold the publication in a multi-million dollar deal to the publishing conglomerate, Luxury Media in mid-2008 (and just two weeks prior to the market crash), who purchased the brand as a natural extension of their print publishing business and for the brand’s roster of high-profile advertisers including Sephora, Estee Lauder, Tom Ford, Virgin Airways, Sony, Citibank and similar. Benlevi-Zeff reacquired JULIB.com in late 2010.
She has been an on-camera host during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York for several years with co-host Alexa Ray Joel (daughter of supermodel Christie Brinkley and musical icon, Billy Joel). Together, they appeared with those including Cyndi Lauper, Heidi Klum, Kris Jenner, Russell Simmons, Paris Hilton, Emmie Rosum, Angie Everhart and others, focusing on recommendations everywhere. She has also appeared on television in a weekly recommendation segment for various talk show programs.
Benlevi-Zeff launched Blinked, a second recommendation business and mobile app in 2014, which was quickly named as one of the top 10 social media networks to use other than Facebook, alongside brands including Pinterest and Instagram.
She has appeared as a guest speaker at New York University’s Stern School of Business, and has appeared in various publications including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, The Herald Tribune, New York Magazine, Food & Wine, and Hamptons Magazine.
She is married to the athlete and fitness personality, Steven T. Little and is the mother of two daughters.
