Julian A. Gold, M.D., is a board certified Anesthesiologist living in Beverly Hills. He is currently Co-Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Co-Managing Partner of General Anesthesia Specialists Partnership Medical Group (GASP). GASP was created in 1994 with 36 anesthesiologist partners. Today GASP has over 100 partners. Julian Gold was elected to the Beverly Hills City Council in 2011. He is currently serving as vice mayor. Dr. Gold previously served on the Recreation and Parks Commission and on the Traffic and Parking Commission, of which he was chairperson. He is a graduate of Team Beverly Hills class of 2002. Family Dr. Gold has lived in Beverly Hills for 16 years. He and his wife, Michele E. Gold, CRNA, PhD, have a daughter, Rebecca, who attended the Beverly Hills public schools<ref name=beverlyhillscitycouncilmembersjuliangold /> and is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. Michele is a professor at USC. Dr. Gold was very involved with community youth sports, coaching softball and soccer and serving on the Beverly Hills Little League Board of Directors. In the late 90’s he began his involvement in Beverly Hills government. In 2002 he graduated the Team Beverly Hills program. He has served on the Beverly Hills Traffic and Parking commission, including as chairperson, and the Recreation and Parks Commission. He was elected to the Beverly Hills City Council in 2011.<ref name=beverlyhillscitycouncilmembersjuliangold /> He currently serves as vice mayor.
