Josh Pugh

Josh Pugh is a British stand-up comedian and comedy writer from Atherstone, Warwickshire.
He wrote for the BBC Radio 4 Extra satirical sketch show Newsjack from 2014 to 2020. He has been featured on The Now Show on BBC Radio 4. Josh has also written for The Island, The Emily Atack Show, Get_Pulped, and authored the book Grassroots: A Step Dad's Quest For Silverware.
Chortle described Pugh as: "A classy hour of charming left-field stand up." He has performed several shows at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Josh came to prominence in 2015 when he won the Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award, where he was described as an "industrious comic, rattling off quirky, ideas at quite the crack." He went on to win English Comedian of the Year in 2016.
