Joseph Keating is the current Mayor of Pittston City in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, United States.Pittston is the representative city for the Greater Pittston Area with a total population of nearly 8,000 people . Pittston was first settled in 1770 and chartered as a city in 1894 . It use to have a population near 17,000 people in the 1960's, but with the loss of manufacturing jobs in the area, the city has seen an economic downfall ever since.
