Practical Jokes/Funny Stories

The Iron Pit has a long tradition of practical jokes, unbelievable stories(but true) and other antics. One such practical joke is known as the "Mark Lamkin" prank. This great joke was played on an unsuspecting "Big Doug" by the two "Computer Guys" Brad and Chad. It involved a long train of emails over a period of months that had Doug convinced he was being insulted and prodded by a "supplements" salesman by the name of Mark Lamkin.

Another more recent prank played on member Greg Simmons involved placing a Gay Pride Rainbow flag in his flag holder on his house. Greg was not home while the flag was placed on his house. His wife returned home before him and called his cell phone to inform him of the "new" flag that was flying out front. Upon driving home to inspect the flag himself, he could not only see the flag but was informed by one of his neighbors walking down the road, who proclaimed "Hey nice flag!".
